Active operating authority

Valid MC number with active FMCSA operating authority for auto transport.

Commercial auto liability insurance

Minimum $750,000 combined single limit. NTS must be listed as certificate holder.

Cargo insurance

Minimum $100,000 cargo coverage. Required for all vehicle types; higher limits required for enclosed/specialty loads.

Equipment verification

All trailers and haulers must be in good working condition and compliant with FMCSA equipment standards.

Driver verification

All drivers must hold a valid CDL appropriate for the equipment type. Driver records subject to review.

Safety & compliance review

Carriers with an unsatisfactory FMCSA safety rating or active out-of-service orders will not be approved.

Vehicle-specific requirements

Carriers must have appropriate strapping, wheel nets, and soft-tie equipment for the vehicle types they haul.

Communication requirements

Carriers must be reachable by phone and email during active loads. Dispatch response time must be under 2 hours.

Tracking requirements

GPS tracking or regular check-in updates required on all loads. NTS dispatch must be notified of any delays or incidents.
